National Sculpture Society. Enduring Memory: In Stone, In Metal, In Beauty. New York: National Sculpture Society, [1956]. Unpaginated, illustrations. 35cm. Green paper boards; illustration and titling in gilt on the front cover. With a certificate laid in and signed by Leo Friedlander and Adolph Block. Leo Friedlander (1890-1966), past president and fellow of the National Sculpture Society, was an American sculptor whose work appears at the Museum of the City of New York, Valley Forge, National Chamber of Commerce, RCA Building, and the Oregon State Capital Building. He taught at New York University where he headed the sculpture department. Adolf Block (1906-1978) was also a fellow and past president of the National Scupture Society. He taught at the National Academy of Deign, and as a sculptor worked in bronze to create commemorative pieces. Corners slighhtly bumped, skinned, cover faded at edges; certificate torn and creased on one side. In very good condition.
